English itself is a hybrid language of Germanic origin, influenced by Anglo-Saxon, Old Norse, Norman French, Latin, Greek and Celtic languages, just like Urdu, which has Indo-Aryan roots with Persian, Arabic and Turkic influences. Both English & Urdu are beautiful languages with rich traditions of poetry and literature! Linguists and litterateurs admire English for its literature, poetry and Shakespearean drama, Italian and French for romance, Persian & Urdu for poetry, and Arabic for eloquence and literary heritage. And you cannot do a thing about that influence. It is now permanent in your people, it must hurt that your local languages lack the same international image for romance, poetry and literary elegance as French, Italian, Persian, Urdu and Arabic, but you cannot erase their influence! Many of your own became Muslims, and even those who did not use Arabic, Persian and Urdu words in everyday speech. The irony is that very languages you despise have influenced your people for centuries, and their legacy is here to stay. You have been culturally conquered forever! Cry

Following Mohsin Naqvi's recent remarks about Pakistan on failure of Pakistan's system, I had not made my mind up. So very kindly @tariq_puma shared a paper which has a comprehensive framework "National Reconstruction Bureau's Devolution of Power Plan (2000)". While Mohsin Naqvi's comments were broad and didn't outline a specific model, I found this earlier framework interesting because it attempted to answer the practical questions which I had & people often ask: • How would a more decentralised system work? • Where would the money come from? • How could smaller or less-developed provinces be funded? • Which responsibilities would sit with each level of government? I've tried to simplify the main ideas from the paper as it is too long, into the infographic below to make them easier to follow. It seems like a very good proposal, feel free to give opinions.

Pakistan and Pakistanis, the pakistani State, do not want this war; hence, they are putting their efforts into de-escalation. God forbid if it happens, it will be a disaster for Pakistan, for Iran, the GCC and for the entire region all the way up yo Turkey. Some even went as far as trying to track and “land” his plane! When negotiations of this level take place, they are structured, coordinated, and signalled or announced through official channels. It is credible that Pakistan could act as a mediator, it has been approached and has offered to facilitate. When such a role materialises, it will be publicly announced, not carried out through secret visits and speculation.
