ค. . . do you . . . want cheesecake ,แฃ
โ โ @greyedforce cheesecake.
automatically do his lips open to deny , but words find no ground . as if they were dragged away by the internal want he faces every day . swallows , instead , the heavy lump of doubt that comes with runa settling next to him . ร
head doesn't necessarily push into the hand against cheek , but . . . he hums , sitting up some , with the twisting in his stomach settling . โใ
คy ' don't think you should . . . wait for him ,แฃ might get the wrong idea .ใ
คโ
he's in no state to fight , like this . the nausea reminds him of worse times โ and tired as he is , finds no ability to flee . eyes open into a squint , staring up to runa . โใ
คare you . . . what about cal ,แฃใ
คโ
it's easing off , at least . the comfort helps . feeling runa no longer so upset helps . wonders , distantly , where cal is . . . the hand is on his cheek , though , and he leans into it mindlessly . โใ
คs ' fine .ใ
คโ
a mumble of confirmation โ more so to make sure runa didn't think he was ignoring him . speaking makes him feel like he'll spew up his lunch . leaning into the comforting hand , just a little .
โใ
คshe has one ,ใ
คโ countered immediately , emotions weighing heavy , tail around wrist enough to grant him a small amount of stability . โใ
คshe has more than she ever had , now . there's nothing more i can say that i haven't already .ใ

touch to back leaves vulnerability at his neck . bode can only bask in it for so long before it becomes too much too fast โ pulling away and unable to look back . โใ
คno .ใ
คโ too rough , too filled with emotion to be truth . ร
the mention of greeze makes him freeze for all of a moment , before continuing to the holo table to scroll to her message quietly . upon seeing her small form , grinning to the side with the beginning of the transmission , bode feels ร
peace for that moment . kata's face returns to him , the same happiness she had mere moments ago fading as she appears to remember what she was meant to be doing . the peace cracks instantly . a hurried , rushed voice , telling him ร
it gets a stiff snort from him , clearing his throat to hide the amusement that festered . โใ
คmemory of a mound of dirt ,ใ
คโ murmurs , nonchalant despite the tease . side eyes the table once more before sighing . โ which one ,แฃ โ
there the moment kata is mentioned . but , as is his role , looks to runa with a pinch of concern . โใ
คhow are you always looking for something ,แฃใ
คโ
โ โ "@greyedforce, โ you got a holo from kata. โ come check it while i fucking find โ .." โ and he drifts off, โ notoriously stressed while scrolling through a long list in a holo tablet.

a scoff is drawn from lungs , eyes rolling intermittently . โใ
คyou're reading into it .ใ
คโ except , he's kind of * not . fingers linger on shoulder , taking a massive effort to not lower them further . screw runa and all these ร
