How many Americans actually just straight-up starve to death? In the latest data, from 2024, there were 22 cases. And not even one of them was about poverty making it unaffordable to obtain food.

How many Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck? How many are starving? The answer to both questions is--despite what you might have heard from the news media--not many. Link: cremieux.xyz/p/how-many-amer…

I think shareholders will agree to merger well under $1K a share. I bet $500 would do it. If not $420.

I’ve heard of people selling deep OTM calls for the last several years and making bank.

You could always move to Minnesota and open an early learing center. Government pays for those and nobody goes to prison. Win win

Second heuristic: When passive income equal or exceeds expenses then you have won the game. You can stop playing.

1GW of compute is roughly worth 1 million Cybercabs, optimistically. Musk has said $30-50 per watt, so $30-50B in annual revenue per GW. SpaceX is currently pricing above the high end of that range and getting sub-1-year payback on new deployments. They’re already at 1.7 GW and generating multi-billion quarterly revenue from the AI side. A million Cybercabs at $40-50k profit each is a bullish mature-fleet number that assumes high utilization and strong margins years from now. SpaceX is monetizing the compute today, adding GWs this year and next, and has customers already paying. The robotaxi side is still in the hundreds of vehicles and needs years of scaling, regulation, and utilization to hit those numbers. That’s why the compute build looks like the clearer near-term bet.

For all you old folks asking why the ageism. Young kids are much easier to push. They have more energy and time than money. Old people won’t dedicate themselves to 80 workweeks for twenty years. @elonmusk wants loyalty and longevity.

One of the funnest parties I have ever been to was with a bunch of my Royal Navy mates while in KSA. They put in a Trafalgar night and we proceeded to get extremely intoxicated celebrating Lord Nelson and his crew.

Identify the worst thing that could happen if you did this. Can it be mitigated? Can you recover if the worst case happens? Once you identify what is keeping you from acting, solve the problem and just do it. Correct course along the way. Life is too short.
