I honestly want to know what EMR plan to do with the 158s for the next 10-15? years. Almost all of them run as 2 car sets on 2+ hour runs. 2 car trains are NOT good enough. We're in the 2020s, not the 1980s. A few ex TfW 158s would do wonders.

Hey @ScotRail just want to say your guard on the heavily delayed 1553 service to Carlisle off Kilmarnock was a shining beacon of happiness. Delays happen, especially in a storm. But it’s how delays are dealt with that matters. Your guard between Kilmarnock & Dumfries apologised to every single passenger when checking tickets and was offering support for their onward travel plans. All with a smile on her face. This is how you deal with delays. Please pass on my thanks to her!
