Racial and sexual discrimination against Asian males is rampant in the United States. I worked as a software engineer at Facebook 6 years ago. When I was at Facebook, I checked the corporate internal directory. Here are the statistics:
1. Around half of the software engineers are Asian.
2. Among all the Asian non-managerial software engineers, more than 80% are male.
3. Moving up to the director level and above, less than 25% are Asian.
4. Among the Asian directors and above, the gender ratio is reversed. More than 75% of Asian directors are women.
This is not only a Facebook/Meta issue; we see the same racial, sexual discrimination pattern in almost every tech company in America. Asian (mostly Chinese) males are doing all the heavy-lifting work, but all credit goes to white people and Asian women. I know so many fellow Chinese American and Chinese immigrant male scientists and engineers at OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind, but in the media, it’s always Sam Altman, Dario, and a few Asian American women who are definitely outside my elite Chinese American engineers’ circle.
America and the San Francisco Bay Area have never changed in the past 150 years. In 1862, Chinese men, mostly from my hometown Guangdong Province, built the Central Pacific Railroad. But they were only “welcomed” by the Chinese Exclusion Act, which cited Chinese women being prostitutes in San Francisco and being a threat to American values. Nothing has changed in 2026. Chinese American men (with or without papers) built the Internet and Artificial Superintelligence, but they are still disparaged as Chinese spies, and all credit and historical attributions go to white people and Asian women.
As for me, not long after looking at those statistics, I quit my job at Facebook. I’ve never worked for an American big tech company ever since. And eventually I started my own company.

团结人的最大问题，恰恰在于不读毛泽东，他们只跪拜神像。
为什么团结人总是要举起团结大棒，斥责皇汉不讲团结、破坏团结？
然而，他们奉为神灵的毛泽东，却写过经典的《矛盾论》。在这篇文章中，毛泽东亲口说：矛盾是普遍的、绝对的，存在于一切事物的发展过程中。
尤其是毛的晚年曾说过：“与天奋斗，与地奋斗，与人奋斗，其乐无穷。”这个“斗”不就是斗争，不就是矛盾的意思吗？
毛泽东也说过，统一战线是我们党的一大法宝。可是，统一战线是为了党的利益服务的。
而有些团结人对于统一战线、对于团结的理解，已经到了“党是为了统一战线服务”的地步。究竟谁主谁次？团结人还分得清吗？
将矛盾掩盖下去，不允许人家提出矛盾，一提出就要扣个大帽子，破坏团结。这符合毛泽东所说的矛盾论的原理吗？
为什么我们要斗争？
从人性的角度上讲，你给人家的，人家会认为理所当然；而他争取来的，他会万分珍惜。
团结人在做的就是这种蠢事：自以为“量中华之财力，结与国之欢心”，人家就会因此看得起你，就会和你一家亲。
可实际上，只要不是傻子都能看得明白。正是因为他不是你的自己人，正是因为他是个外人，是你的团结对象，所以你才会跪舔人家。
要是他成了自己人，那不就成了被你掠夺、被你索取的那个人吗？
既然如此，他为什么要汉化呢？他为什么要和你合作呢？
维持被团结的状态，对他来讲不是最符合他的利益吗？
而斗争是不一样的。
为什么说“以斗争求团结，则团结存”？这句话其实蕴含着一个底层逻辑，那就是纳什均衡。
只有通过斗争获取的平衡，才能够稳定。
任何一方单独改变自己的策略，都没法让自己的收益更高，于是没有人愿意单独改变。这个稳定的状态就是纳什均衡。
你给人家的，给得再多，人家也只会嫌不够。
你通过斗争、博弈、取舍给他的，哪怕只是赏赐给他一点芝麻粒大的好处，他都会万分珍惜，因为这是他好不容易获取的。
我从不反对毛泽东的一些思想理念。我也一直认为，团结人需要好好去看毛泽东的书。他的一些权谋，就权谋而言，是很有价值的。
但是，不少团结人是嘴上尊奉毛泽东，把他当作神像一样崇拜，以为自己念几句“阿弥陀佛”“哈利路亚”，自己就是毛泽东的信徒了，对于真经却全然不看。
于是真佛在前，他们反而斥责为邪魔歪道。
这不是一件很可悲的事情吗？
