Fun fact: because of GTA I wanted to be a #gamedev
Nearly 30 years later, I'm doing my take on GTA! I'll focus on music and cars (in that order 😎)
I wish everyone a great #gamedev week! Please do not forget to sleep, keep yourself hydrated, and stay healthy. What dream are you pursuing this week? 😃
Mine👇
Sharing something that looks super bad, every part of the scene has a problem in it. As I feel a little under the weather today, I could use some nice progress in one of the games 🥴

I just learned that Skyrim had a bug: the mannequin was an NPC, and its AI wasn't disabled immediately after the scene loaded, so it could turn its head towards you, creepy! And after @BethesdaStudios fixed it, some modders decided to bring back the bug! 😄
Claude Code/Codex/Cursor(+5 others) embedded in your app or game, a shameless promotion of my 2-year-old project.
And for the cringe video, Opus 5.5 takes full responsibility

"They learned nothing and forgot nothing", but it's about the Bourbons. Any resemblance to old-school gamedev is purely coincidental.
Everyday I got unskilled people telling me to stop vibe coding under the videos of my game.
They say I should learn the skill.
Let's imagine I didnt have 40k hours of manual coding
Let's imagine I was a non-tech pursuing a goal of becoming an indie dev.
Don't I have the right to use AI to make incredible games?
You could have expected that the gate keepers would be the dev, afraid of becoming useless. But no, we are the first ones great replaced and the most enthusiasts about LLM.
Let non-tech vibe code their game and going from idea guys into crafters.

I'm watching a long video to manually capture visual glitches, missing details, and repetition. This is more or less a data labeling job 😜 so I had the coding agent make me an ad hoc tool for that.
The goal is to have all the things interactive and destructible inside a city that is organic (procedural).

Two slops, one ocean foam. Claude signature move, chefs kiss, when generating WebGL water.
Somewhere there is a student project GH repo where this foam came from 😄
Pixelartish shockwave: ring->gaps(?)->lens(!)->dust 🤳🏻

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone! 🙌🏻 I don't know about you, but for me TTD was always about listening to the music 🎼
Attention to detail kicked in again 🤯, how it looks like when things go south for the soldiers

Week 3: No game yet, but I already have a trailer. I remain a master planner 😎
Constantinople week 2 ending, lots of progress that is not quite visible. Below testing how deep cavalry can crumple into an infantry unit before getting mobbed. Dozens of other bugs captured and fixed while recording this.

A tribute to Syndicate Wars was always on my bucket list! My feelings about this: high tech dystopian world, full of dirt and shady dealings. I'm still trying to figure out the gameplay that makes sense in 2027+, but getting nice visuals early motivates for further work
