This note is so impressive in both form (honest, heartfelt writing) and substance (dropping one year cliff for recent hires). Sympathies to everyone at Airbnb affected by the layoffs.

What I've found crucial when living in isolation is setting yourself tons of mini-mission. My mission this weekend is lemon croissant 🍋🥐😋

Two @zoom_us tips:
1. "Hide self view" — Personally, I find it super distracting to see myself during a meeting.
2. Position the person as close as possible to the camera, so it feels like you're looking directly at them (more respectful than looking away or in a corner)

Your girls, @mindapi_ and I just launched design podcast about UX design from 🇹🇭 Thai designers across various industries/ continents.
Most of the resources out there are in English so we want to help aspiring Thai designers to overcome the language barrier 💕😍

OK, UX designers. Let's talk about your portfolio.
I've been reviewing these lately (mostly for clients who ask us to help build their team, but occasionally for designers who ask nicely).
There are important things that many designers miss, especially early career folks.

There are designers who make things look better. There are designers who make things work better. There are designers who make the team collab better.
And that’s ok.
Instead of hating on each others skills, silly thought, we just keep working together to make everything better.
