Big congrats chief. 💯
After 5 years of building @AltSchoolAfrica with @AdewaleYusuf_ and @opeawo, today I’m officially stepping down as CTO and moving into the CEO role.
The goal is to provide global education to Africans at an affordable cost. Instead of going to the UK and spending £30,000 to get a degree, you can attend the same university through AltSchool for less than £15,000.
Same school, same lecturers, same BSc.
Equal value. Equal access. Local pricing.
I’m officially launching our degree programmes on degree.altschoolafrica.com, and over the next few months, you’ll see more global universities join the AltSchool network.
Welcome to the edX of Africa.
You made a couple of mistakes:
1. You immediately accused them of lying without any evidence or basis.
2. Your tone was demanding, and it sounded like you were looking for a fault rather than trying to understand or communicate, which they don’t owe you anyway.
3. Your tweet didn’t come across with any genuine curiosity or desire to understand. It came across more like mockery.
4. While you have every right not to accept data at face value, you don’t have the right to call it fraud without any evidence.
A better approach would be:
Hi, thanks for sharing this data. Your CAC here looks really impressive. In fact, this is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
I’m a paid acquisition strategist, and I’d really love to learn more about your conversions. What periods of the day did you record the highest volume? Was there a drop at any point, or was it a continuous increase?
In return, I’d be happy to help you assess your platform and recommend strategies you could use to acquire more users beyond your current channel. Can I DM?
( you’re an adult, please learn how to communicate)
