🧡 I didn't know today was Day of the Dead for Pets. If there's any chance she still exists out there in the universe, I'd love for her to visit me.

30 years of #FrankBlack. What an honor it was to play that character and work with some of the finest actors and crew members.

🎃 One week left of spooky season! Still time to make something neat happen or should I just be a bitter sourpuss about October ending too soon like I always am? PS: Also, a good time to remind myself that I actually started Halloween Love in November because of this very dilemma: halloweenlove.com/

WNUF Halloween Special on the final The Last Drive-In Halloween Special is a special kind of Halloween treat. What a cool way to watch this movie, either for the first time or simply THIS time. Always a fun watch. A personal favorite of mine! #TheLastDriveIn

🤢 Enough of the AI declarations and enough of the AI talk in general. "This was made with AI" and "this was NOT made with AI" are both equally annoying. When an artist presents every new piece of art with "not made with AI," it doesn't make me think "oh good, I can like it then." It's a completely jarring experience that takes me away from even being able to enjoy your art. "These taxes were done with the assistance of a calculator." "My commute to work was completed without the use of an automobile." "This movie was made by a person who voted for X." Enough. I don't care. Let the thing speak for itself. The fact of the matter is even if you made it by hand, a declaration isn't going to stop people from accusing it of being AI anyway. There are people (and ironically, bots too) that accuse everything of being AI now. AI is never going away, but this nauseating, boring, insufferable conversation about it will eventually fade. We might as well accelerate that progress. (unless I absolutely have to, I'm going to try my best to avoid discussing AI moving forward)

"Horrible take. AI is stealing and bastardizing everyone's work and destroying creativity and the environment." It doesn't sound like you actually understood my take in order to have an opinion on it. My post has nothing to do with what AI is or isn't or how people feel about it, it's that there's nothing left to say. We've said all the things and had all the debates. Society does the same thing with every new evolution in technology. The internet is a perfect example. One side argued that it would create jobs and liberate information, make the world more connected. The other side argued that it would create great evil and destroy the environment. Both sides were right, because the fundamental problem is always the same. The new shiny thing is a tool, completely neutral on its own. It's the intent of the person using it that makes it "good" or "bad" and we'll always find a way to do both with every tool that's ever been or ever will be invented. But, everything you said or will say on this topic and everything I just said or will say on this topic has already been said. Neither will change the fact that it's already done. AI is here. At best, we're boring and quite dumb, but at worst, we're wasting precious time on futile things that could be better spent elsewhere.
