UPDATE: Mom's pain continues, although she had an okay night last night (which might have been influenced by my twins visiting with me). They removed her PICC line today, and we have two medical appointments next week to assess the efficacy of the IV meds for her infectious disease, as well as to discuss the possibility of the spinal surgery. I haven't slept in a very long time, but I enjoyed time with my girls tonight, which was lovely.

Overwhelmed, sad, exhausted, and a wee bit helpless, so I wandered through the trees. I wouldn't say it solved anything, but my nervous system felt quieter for a time. I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone. Your positive energy, prayers, kind messages, advice, support, DMs, and words of wisdom have provided comfort this past week. I am grateful, even if I don't have the right words to express how much it has meant. It's kept me going.
