💔 A Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv killed one person and injured 15 others, while leaving a dog fatally wounded by severe blast trauma.
First responders fought desperately on-site to resuscitate the injured animal, but it succumbed to its wounds.

Overnight, Russia has attacked Ukrainian cities and communities with 16 ballistic missiles and over 280 drones.
In Kyiv, a strike hit a university campus, nearby residential buildings, a park, and the area around a metro station. Since the evening of October 27, one person was killed and at least 15 were injured in Kyiv.
In Kharkiv, two people were killed and at least four were injured by Russian attacks. In Dnipro region, three civilians were wounded overnight. Russia also struck other Ukrainian regions, targeting energy facilities, logistics and civilian infrastructure.
As Russia is escalating its terror, Ukraine needs timely air defence supplies and real pressure on Russia to stop its war. Artificial delays in delivering interceptors for Patriot and NASAMS systems are helping Russia carry out its terror campaign. Ukraine must not be left alone to protect lives.

I just spoke with an official at the center of the negotiations to release American hostages held by Russia and I’m told the number of Americans Russia is holding hostage is actually 22, not 8 as was previously reported following the release of Robert Gilman and Stephen Hubbard.
There needs to be more of an effort in my opinion by the Trump administration to be tougher of Vladimir Putin, who is objectively the most barbaric in a comparison between himself and @ZelenskyyUa.

The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.

🔥BREAKING: massive fire has broken out at the Omsky Kauchuk petrochemical plant in Omsk, Russia, following a Ukrainian drone attack, nearly 2,500 km from the front line.
The facility is one of Russia’s leading producers of synthetic rubber and industrial chemicals, including phenol, acetone, and isopropyl alcohol. It also manufactures MTBE, a key component used in high-octane gasoline production.
The plant produces approximately 500,000 tonnes of petrochemical products annually.
