Suggestion: Pass a law that anyone in either party that runs on their party line and then immediately switches to the opposition MUST #RESIGN their seat. A special election should then be held to replace that #turncoat with someone who has #ethics and #allegience.

Not only did the Republican Party suffer extraordinary losses at the federal level, but their bench at the state level got caught up in the blue tsunami as well.
This took out a large portion of a future congressional candidate class for the GOP, and rebalanced the power over drawing maps, running elections, and providing further checks on power from outside of Washington.

Washington Republicans helped cause this. They knew it was coming. They had the opportunity to prevent families from facing even higher health insurance costs. Instead, they turned their backs on them.
They allowed the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits to expire, despite repeated warnings about what that would mean for millions of Americans struggling to afford health insurance.
Now, premiums for popular Healthcare. gov plans are set to rise another 11% next year, and Americans will have fewer insurance companies to choose from.
The Affordable Care Act isn't perfect. Democrats know that. That's why we continue fighting to strengthen it, expand access to coverage, and make health care more affordable for every American.
But Washington Republicans have refused to work with us to restore these tax credits and provide meaningful relief to hardworking families.
Instead, they want you to believe these rising costs have nothing to do with the decisions they made in Washington.
Don't let them rewrite the facts.
Rising medical costs are already putting enormous pressure on American families. By allowing these tax credits to expire, Republicans made an already difficult situation even worse.
Americans deserve affordable health care, not political excuses. It's time for Washington Republicans to stop standing in the way and start working with us to lower costs.

If Trump delayed military operations against Iran because of the midterms and now plans to resume them because he has “nothing to lose politically,” that’s an outrageous abuse of his responsibility as Commander in Chief.
