This onboarding email made me drop the product. Because I came to use their product, not join their Discord. It doesn't have to be complicated. Just be direct about what we want: Could be "Give me my toolkit" not "Join our Discord." Mismatched action button = friction

Most AI founders check their product to see where the problem is. You upgrade the features You improve the interface You cut out friction in using the product Yet when you tell users about them, they barely move. That's a conversion problem, yes, but where?

Founders lust after distribution. Still no paying users. Because it's easier to make someone see you than like you, and easier to make them like you than pull out their credit card. Convert what you have first. PS. 3,000 followers, or 315 who pay every launch?

Me: let's cut down these 15 options to 1 AI founder:

“I have a conversion problem.” You say But what kind of conversion? Could be: 1. The wrong people signed up. 2. They signed up and never opened the product. 3. They opened it once and vanished. did you give them a reason to stay? 4. They use it, and they've never paid.

congrats man give it a check, builders
Good morning builders☀️ @LandingBoost is live on @UneedLists today! Nearly 800 founders(mostly from X) helped shape it in public. It finds the First Edit hurting your landing page and tracks meaningful competitor changes. If you’ve followed the journey, I’d love your support🫡 Link in the comments👇

Someone's drowning in a river. You show up in a rescue boat. So does a blonde-haired lady. You give the person a jacket. Then a ladder. Then a rope. She tells them "just grab my hand." They do. She was easier. That's how users go to whichever competitor has less friction.

You know it's serious when your Dad personally tells you to rest 🥲

If you're feeling stressed today, scrolling to find some workflow advice, This'll "revolutionize" your workflow... Don't talk to ChatGPT today. It'll find some "profound" insight that wastes your mental energy. Come thank me when you save 300 hours following this advice 👍

"There's a standard for editing, and a standard for writing." An author told me. That standard has kept her rewriting the first draft of her first book, for three months. Then I asked her the same thing I ask builders... "Isn't that holding you back?"

what I mean by a fire audit 🔥 love how you made the numbers less intimidating.
New Before/After: Lighthouse by @JustRouzbeh ! Lighthouse is a must-have for any indie hacker starting a new project. It helps you validate your vision before writing a single line of code. Here is how we audited the hero: 1. We moved from a generic "Validate" to a "late-night idea" hook. It speaks directly to the human experience of waking up with a vision, creating an instant "that’s me" moment.
 2. We created contrast by juxtaposing the nightmare of wasting months coding a product nobody wants with a near-instant solution. We focused on exactly what the user wants: an audience waiting for them to ship. 3. We replaced the "100 users" goal with a more tangible "first 10." As Seth Godin says: "First, ten." It’s a goal that feels achievable, real, and less intimidating.
Lutains found the data. We added with Aymeric the human logic.
Which version do you prefer? 👇

Tech is a means to an end, not the destination. @AymericAveline and I are passionate about what we build, but paradoxically, we feel most alive far away from any screen. Deep in the forest. Maybe one day, our biggest project won’t be a SaaS, but a house in the woods. A place to truly disconnect. 🌲 But until that day comes, we’ll keep doing what we love: helping founders fix their landing pages. There’s a deep satisfaction in finding the right words for a project that matters. Building for the future, one audit at a time. :)

Your email is great... makes $0. Because you have a leaky funnel. A welcome email and a newsletter isn't enough. You also need: - Activation Emails - Product Announcement / Launch Emails - Conversion / Sales Emails

"Mission: Help 1,000,000 people build successful startups in the next 10 years." Saw that and I was impressed, then confused then offended. You put this in a corner?! They put it at the very bottom of the slides, in a little box. Like, come on! 'laughs in irritation'

Every screenshot on the landing page shows the product full. Charts with data, projects, activity. Then someone signs up and gets an empty screen and a “create your first project” button. The page promised a product that was already working. The signup delivered one that hadn’t started yet.

Users look at the 17 buttons in your welcome email, and leave. Because they don't have time to go through that learning curve. So make it simple. one button to tap, that'll solve the immediate problem they have.
