I'm going to be opening colorless sketches coming up soon that have a set monthly theme! They'll be fullbodies which should be fun x3!! I just need to finish my example haha. Going to start with a "Sweaters in Fall" theme I think. Heehee.

I don't believe artistic skill and "thirst-coding" are at odds in artwork. There is no line. I draw what i'm inspired to within my own or a clients parameters to meet both our expectations.
Whether it's sfw or nsfw is irrelevant. <3

The animation pricing discourse is just another example of people not understanding the work that goes into creating hand drawn art.

it’s per second of animation dumbass, that’s $250 for like 12-24 drawings

Ex Animation Student here.
People who don't understand animation think this is expensive, it is not.
This artist is drawing 12 to 24 finished illustrations for 1 second of animation.
So 20$ to 10$ an illustration.
I'm addition, they are wearing many hats to get the final product done.
In the animation industry, no one is drawing a full animation start to finish.
The job is separated between; story board artists, key frame animators, filler frame animators, clean up and colorist.
This person is doing every job in their service and their pay is justified.

I swear we NEED to actually gatekeep non-artists from sharing their dogshit opinions on art more often.
It's NOT $15k for a minute OF WORK, it's $15k for a minute of ANIMATION, which assuming it's 12 FPS is 720 drawings, each drawing being $20 which is fucking abysmally low.
