He beat cancer and then immediately went back to tweeting about how AI sucks. That's my pope 🙏
Replying to @Pontifex
Machines are tools, not persons. Today, some propose granting these systems rights, or even legal personhood. Such an approach risks obscuring human responsibility and leaving those who suffer harm to confront a faceless entity.
Hey guys, I don’t really know that much about politics, can someone please tell me what Israel’s election results mean for the (I am not joking here) framed photo of Netanyahu that hangs at a child’s height right when you walk into the preschool I go into on Fridays for work!

"not only are your gen AI memes ugly, they are ontologically hollow" - the pope

Man I love being Catholic. Stained glass, bones in snazzy displays, Mary and her zillion titles, beautiful sacraments, Butlerian Jihad, literally eating Jesus, being right. It's got everything.
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

The no phone Phoebe Bridgers show was perfect. I never want phones at shows again. The Scott street wave. The scream in I know the end. The silence during still standing. Just the best evening ever.

About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made. The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore including four new songs is out on Friday and available to pre-order and save now at taylor.lnk.to/TSTLOASTheEnco… ❤️🔥

I have been in a bad financial place lately. I can’t afford to be single. I literally am a privileged white girl who has a good education and I can’t pay for a regular life. To top it all off I truly don’t know any peds OTs in my state who make a living without a husband :-)
Have a fun life!!!” And now :-) I am fucked lmao :-) I am obviously just in a bad mood and do not need to be tweeting like this but damn I feel like all the trads were right about me and my life is a joke that all the right wing grifters can point and laugh at today :-(

people on here trashing his life and his witness because he was (likely?) a gay man AND a priest makes me genuinely see red
Here is Father Mychal Judge in his last moments.
His mind is stirring and soul is heavy. It’s as if he knows. He whispers prayers to himself and for the tragic events happening above him.
He unfortunately would not survive the collapse of the south tower as debris fell on top of him in the north tower (as seen here).
The next scene is Batallion Chief Pfeifer’s brother Kevin, also deep in his thoughts and what he is seeing in front of him, who also tragically did not survive as the North tower collapsed.
