Hatch conference design videos are some of the best I've watched. It's strange that they don't have a lot of subscribers.
This is the worst "Pride and Prejudice" movie trailer I've seen in my life and I've watched it mute. A few problems for a start -
- Is the entire movie made on an overcast day?
- Why is one of the sisters fat and ugly?
- There is zero chemistry between Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy!
- Wait, did they cast an indian guy for Mr.Collins?
- Let us rejoice that we have the most beautiful version (2008) with Keira Knightley. Thank Heavens.

Downton Abbey did the impossible: it made impeccably dressed, older, intelligent people with a great sense of humor having conversations into a show that was completely addicting to watch. Nothing has come close to being this clever in a long time, and I doubt any show will.

My response to this AI Karen:
Hey Jennifer, if you have to distort an argument about parental responsibility into “you don't care about children,” perhaps your argument isn't nearly as strong as you think it is. Caring about children and expecting parents to exercise judgment aren't mutually exclusive. Moral outrage is not a substitute for intellectual honesty.
How cool is it that you can borrow these books at internet archive and capture your childlike spirit again. samizdat.co/cyoa/books/
I appreciate a movie with impeccably beautiful costumes and design details, but these are always secondary to the story and the characters. The story is what endures long after the sparkle of glamour has faded. Audiences remember what the characters were feeling: their facial expressions, body language, and dialogue. That’s why movies from the 1980s and 1990s, made without CGI or expensive effects, often hold up better than many films made today. People tend to forget modern movies almost as soon as the credits roll because there is too much emphasis on shiny effects, vulgarity, and unnecessary sex scenes rather than actual storytelling and intelligent, compelling dialogue.
How come liberal politicians never talk about giving their own money even though they're rich? Ro Khanna's rich, Mamdani's rich, JB Pritzer's rich but all I ever hear is them talking about taxing someone who is richer than them. If they care so much about working class people like they said, then why are they not using their own money to fund the schools and healthcare?
