Provincial Boundaries!?? No. Budget deliberations are 20 days away. A few of us on Council have already found enough cuts to bring the tax increase down to single digits. Meanwhile the Mayor spends his time fighting transparency and picking provincial fights, hoping to distract you from the upcoming tax hike. If that's where his heart is, there's still time to run for MLA.
Your vote shouldn't count for less because you live in Calgary. Under the proposed election map, 26 of our 28 seats would have far more people than the average, meaning we're 2 MLAs short of our fair share. We want fair representation for Alberta in Ottawa. Calgary deserves the same from Edmonton.

Boss level move sharing a clip of a liberal criticizing the MP sharing the clip for sharing clips. So I also shared the clip.
The Liberals are criticizing Conservatives for sharing clips from Heritage Committee. Canada is a democracy and Canadians have a right to see what their elected representatives are saying and doing in Parliament. So yes, I will continue sharing committee clips with Canadians. They deserve to see exactly what goes on in Parliament.

WAIT! WUT? Why is Carney's Major Projects Office working with the Immigration Ministry? Are they going to import foreign labour to work on projects deemed in the national interest of Canadians?

Canada should not get into bed with Ursula von der Leyen. She was never elected by a single voter. She was nominated by heads of government and confirmed behind closed doors in Brussels. You can't vote her out. Neither can anyone in Europe. That alone should end the conversation, but it gets worse. This is the woman who negotiated billions in vaccine contracts with Pfizer's CEO by text message, then refused to show the texts. The EU's own court ruled against her. Billions in public money, decided in private chats, hidden from the public. And she survived it. She always survives it. She survived a no-confidence vote. She survived the German defence ministry scandals, the missing data, the consultant contracts. She survives everything because the system she runs isn't built to hold her accountable. It's built to protect her. Now look at what she's selling us. Digital ID wallets for every citizen. Officially voluntary today. But once that infrastructure exists, governments always find new uses for it. That's not a conspiracy, that's just how power works. And "ever closer association" means Canada falls in line behind EU rules on digital ID, data, and AI. Rules we didn't write. Rules our Parliament doesn't control. Carney calls this "more sovereignty." Let's be honest about what it is. It's trading dependence on Washington for dependence on Brussels. That's not sovereignty. That's changing landlords. And here's the part nobody in Ottawa wants to say out loud: there is no vote. No referendum. No say for the Canadian people. The federal cabinet can sign this and ratify it on its own. The same people who lecture us about democracy are cutting a deal with an unelected leader, in a city most Canadians will never visit, about rules that will govern our daily lives. Europe's farmers already figured her out. They drove their tractors into Brussels because her green rules were strangling them. Her own member states grumble about how much power she's grabbed for herself. Even the people who work under her call her "Queen Ursula." So why is Canada crawling into bed with her? Because Carney wants a headline about standing up to Trump, and Ursula wants another country in her orbit. Both of them get what they want. The Canadian people get the bill. We don't need a new master. We need our own house in order. Canada deserves better than Ursula's bed.

Canadians deserve answers about the Prime Minister’s push for a closer relationship with the European Union. Today, Conservatives moved a motion at committee to study how this closer relationship could affect Canada’s identity, culture, sovereignty, and the rights of Canadians. The Liberals shut down debate. These are important questions that deserve serious scrutiny, not silence. Canadians have a right to know what this means for our country, our sovereignty, and our future. Why won't Liberals let this be studied?

Projects funded by Global Affairs Canada: • Recycling culture and ocean plastic awareness in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam • Participatory theatre performance for Lebanese, Syrian, and Ethiopian women • Theatre-based youth resilience in Jordan • Healthy lifestyles and local fruit and vegetable consumption in Belize What foreign policy goals do these achieve?

Brussels wants Canada as its first "associate member." Their own draft says we'd get "early consultations" on EU regulations. We already have CETA. Trade is covered. So why won't Carney give a straight answer on the label? Even Germany and France want it dropped 🤦🏻‍♂️ Our laws get written in Ottawa, NOT Brussels. Basic facts, eh? 🇨🇦

🚨SHOCKING!! WHAT'S HAPPENING IN ENGLAND ⚠️ Man arrested for wearing a cap with the country's flag and for holding a sign that said "Save our children" ⚠️They taped his mouth shut with adhesive tape so he couldn't say anything. In England, people ARE GOING TO JAIL for loving their country and defending children ‼️ If this doesn't terrify you, then you're simply not paying attention. 😳🛑

🚨BREAKING: Immigrants WANTED for deportation by the CBSA STILL get first-class medical care — care that ordinary Canadians don't even receive. Their health cards aren't cancelled, hospitals don't flag them for authorities—and nobody checks a damn thing.

Well done Elbowzo voters.
👀 WOW: @MichelleRempel breaks news of @EASPORTS layoffs affecting Canadians at Edmonton's @BioWare, after the Liberal Immigration Minister "scrapped the last safeguard that forces I.T. Corp's to try & hire 🇨🇦 Canadians before offering the job to somebody outside of the country."

Cold-hearted 🖤 Copenhagen pushes elderly in retirement homes to eat little meat to cut CO₂ Can they please get more meat on, say, their birthday? No. A left-wing councilor: Climate targets for everyone. And old people are “precisely the generation that polluted the most” kk.kommune-tv.dk/watch/11310…

UNBELIEVABLE Canada has hit an alarming 29-year low in workforce participation, and Liberals cannot stop patting themselves on the back, ignoring the Job numbers. Liberals need to stop pretending everything is fine and start fixing the problems that their policies have created.

For people who are skeptical of Carneys and the Libs sudden about face see below.
It all makes sense now: -Why Carney is allowing the pipeline -Why he suddenly cares about the ocean -Why he appointed his wife as ocean Envoy Building this Pacific Link pipeline is just an excuse to bring in the carbon credit market and he's leveraging the ocean to do it.

🧑‍🏭 Hundreds of thousands of jobs are hanging in the balance due to the trade war. 0⃣ We have no clue what our government is doing. 🚫 No plan, no comms, no progress reports (Advisory Committee?), what tariff rates would be acceptable, nothing. Just a vague "good deal" promised. 🙈 The most important issue facing our country & we're in the dark. 🦗 🇨🇦 media isn't holding the Liberals to account. News items on small & medium sized business impacts have dried up. Deflection articles rule. The Jobs report is out on Oct 9. ✅ @KatlynHarrison "We need to have an adult conversation (in the media)..." 🙄 Perhaps a 🇺🇸 media outlet will fill us in. Thx @cbcwatcher

They’ll talk to American press but not to Canadian press that aren’t funded by the Canadian government. nitter.gq/therlybigshow/status/2…
US press access granted, while Canadian media face unanswered emails and locked doors. Is this what democracy looks like? A stark contrast in press freedom. #PressFreedom #Democracy #Canada
