Introducing FACTORS: The current state of basketball relies on 3 dimensions (outside of the usual Four Factors) that teams are building their identity around. - Rim pressure - 3P vol. - Poss. battle Metrics now offers a new specific tab covering them: 👉🏼hey-metrics.com/nba-league

🗞️ - @kendra__andrews

(re)INTRODUCING the NCAA on Metrics! Both m and w have specific pages, in a scouting oriented way : - the PLAYERS page, with usual Metrics tabs - the PLAYER page, centered around one single player, with tools to dig in hey-metrics.com/ncaaw hey-metrics.com/ncaam

As mentionned in the primary tweet, only PLAYERS & single PLAYER pages for both NCAA. Why? The coverage Metrics intends to offer is scouting oriented. Therefore, teams stats are not that valuable as a standalone page like it is for the NBA and WNBA.

When did basketball fans started to not like trashtalk and competitive minds anymore? Won’t provide that depressing stat on Metrics I’m afraid.

THE VALKYRIES ARE CHAMPIONS. Fueled by a Herculean second half by Gabby Williams, Golden State stayed the course and won the first Game 7 in WNBA history. Two years ago, Joe Lacob told Natalie Nakase she had to win a title within five years. Mission accomplished.
