163 days now.... at some point, within a matter of days, and for no logical reason, TAO/BTC is going to snap back to 0.005 and $TAO will trade $400+ as BTC trades at $82,000...even higher if BTC continues to run. I don't make the rules. TAO/BTC cannot stay down here forever.
where is $TAO headed? I'm staring at TAO/BTC today 👀👀 TAO/BTC is currently at 0.002975; the high is 0.011 (April 2025) the typical pattern is a quick surge (2-3 weeks) to the 0.004-0.005 level followed by a slow grind back down. recent moves: peak of 0.0046 on 5/12/25; trough of 0.0025 on 10/11/25 (152 days; 46% drawdown) peak of 0.0049 on 11/1/25; trough of 0.002161 on 2/12/26 (103 days; 56% drawdown) peak of 0.005274 on 3/25/26; (today is 149 days; 46% drawdown so far) I expect $BTC to stall moderately and then continue to the $85k+ level; which means: TAO/BTC at 0.002975 => TAO at $253 TAO/BTC at 0.004 => TAO at $340 TAO/BTC at 0.005 => TAO at $425 nfa/dyor but I think we have continued material upside from here as TAO catches up to BTC.

With teams dedicating thousands of hours to model development on Zeus, stable evaluation is the most important aspect of the subnet’s design. AI brings a new generation of weather models that rival (and outperform) traditional numerical models. Ground truths, loss functions and optimization targets all shape what these models learn, each with own trade-offs. We've evaluated them all, and found the ones best suited to Zeus. More on our rationale in our latest blog. 🔗 zeussubnet.com/zeus-pro-anal…

Quantum computers attack Bitcoin Fusion can attack Gold value Nowhere is safe – at San Francisco, CA

In 2025, we published a bold proposal to use fusion reactors for gold production. And now we’ve done it: Mercury transmuted into stable gold, using fusion neutrons, at 10x the record set by CERN in 2025. We’ve reduced alchemy to a series of difficult but tractable engineering problems.

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

understanding post-eTAO dynamics: 1) yield for alpha holders is paid out of the *validator* cut 2) the formula for root TAO is fixed with a 0.41 multiplier (same as pre-eTAO) and to the best of my knowledge has not changed: 0.41 × [(0.18 × Root TAO) ÷ (0.18 × Root TAO + Subnet alpha issued)] so subnets that reduced their validator take are actually screwing their alpha holders. for subnets that changed their owner/vali/miner split post-eTAO, this creates an imbalance; namely, root yield for **subnets that cut their validator split** (from which alpha holders are paid) is severely inflated and alpha holder yield is getting crushed: all/most "validator" yield now goes to root holders, and there is nothing/less left for alpha holders. eg check the yield on subnet 16: taostats.io/yield?subnet=16 see attached for current root yield for subnets that changed their owner/vali/miner split. data from chain analysis via @grok. bittensor:native #subnets seems to me the 0.41 multiplier needs to be adjusted (=>new vali split). if I'm wrong let me know.

That’s now more than $130K in buybacks from @VantaTrading to SN8 in October, all of which has been locked or burned. With owner emissions removed, our goal is to match miner emissions with real demand. So far in October, we’ve burned an amount equal to 17.8% of all expected miner emissions across all miners. We'll see how we end the month.

With this change, stakers now earn 23% more yield per alpha staked on SN8. Our sole focus is on offsetting miner emissions. More announcements coming.

BREAKING: President Trump reveals his new anti-fraud program set up to reward people who expose fraud with a 1% commission on the money uncovered. "If you turn somebody in and you, let's say report and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
DOJ's published guidance caps individual whistleblower rewards at up to $30,000 per tip, not an uncapped 1% of fraud uncovered, with a total program fund of $25 million. A $1 billion fraud tip would not yield a $10 million payout under the official program rules. newsweek.com/trump-vance-of… foxnews.com/politics/trump…

Goodbye owner emissions, and thank you for the support. We've moved to 0% owner, 50% validator, 50% miner splits. We believe removing owner emissions is part of a subnet’s maturation. Once you’ve built a stable & fair incentive mechanism, you can compete within it yourself. That’s where we are with SN8. Anyone can provide trading intelligence to the network through an individual miner or an entity miner. We’ll compete by running an entity miner, and we see that as our future. Individual miners earn alpha for the PnL they contribute to the network. Entity miners, including prop firms, earn through profit splits with the traders they fund, with the shared goal of producing the network’s best risk-adjusted PnL. We’ll keep building SN8 without owner emissions. APY from our existing holdings will fund subnet features and improvements. We’ll rely on mining emissions and Vanta Trading’s ability to compete to fund our continued growth on VT. As we have in the past, we’ll use specific wallets for Vanta Trading sales and any owner emissions, so the associated spending is easy to track. Our goal is to grow the network to thousands of miners. We built SN8 to be more than a network where we’re the main competitor. There are many individual miners and entities already running on the network. With Null Consensus, we want to grow that exponentially. More miners will be able to join with the right rails, making it simpler to get started: USDC in, miner running. As more miners join, we expect more network weight to flow to miners, bringing more trading intelligence and creating more capacity to meet demand for funding. That demand can generate further revenue for the subnet through copy trading. We see this as the natural progression of a subnet, and believe SN8 is ready to begin that transition. It may take time, and there may be hiccups along the way. Our expectation is that, gradually, miners will receive 100% of the network’s weight. We’re starting that transition by moving our own owner to provide a bigger split to miners & our holders.

The 88 Edge and the State of Root Reborn TL;DR: 88 Root is clearly outperforming. Root Reborn's active weight setting began on Aug 27, followed by active rebalancing. We've compiled a performance chart of 88 Root alongside major root validators, using lifetime performance data from @Taostats. 88 Root tops the chart. Two starting dates are provided for context. 88 Root began as an sn88 validator on Aug 16 and did not become a root validator across all 128 subnets until Sep 3. Its performance data during the interim period is largely noise from a single subnet. While we expect 88 Root to continue outperforming, the tight guardrails on active rebalancing leave limited room for short-term performance differentiation. The 2% price band restriction makes it nearly impossible to enter or exit fast-moving subnets. The 10% daily turnover limit means a full rebalance can take days or even weeks. On the other hand, these restrictions do help prevent manipulation and mitigate risk. Root has always been about risk-free yield after all. As the 88 alpha edge becomes more evident over time, we also expect and welcome healthy competition from fellow validators. Many are clearly run by talented teams. Meanwhile, the unrestricted alpha edge remains in the 88 Quant Fund. Despite the still-anemic market, we're preparing to reopen the fund soon. Stay tuned. #SN88 #Bittensor $TAO 🚀
