135 days until what I consider the start of the active season: March 10 171 days until we begin our 2027 atmospheric research mission. But only 107 days until I want equipment built and finalized: February 10. The build counter is slowly going up. Nearly all of the firmware testing and one-time setup, like prototype enclosures, has been completed, so we can start producing sondes, which is going to be the most time consuming process. As always, you can support the project via our GoFundMe and download our free app while you go check out our website. We really appreciate it. @reconwx

Looks like a successful print of one Isopod using ASA plastic. Had lots of problems and thought it was wet filament or the chamber temperature. Turns out it was the supports failing for some reason. Modified the print file a little bit and now requires no supports. Comes out great. 32+ of these being built by spring. @reconwx @BambulabGlobal

Testing the new Isopod design. Looks more like we should have called it Isotube now. More information on these later, but I've decided to get rid of the box design. Waterproofing concerns. This design doesn't require any waterproofing. The electronics and sensor are on a cartridge that shoves up the bottom. The side vents allow atmospheric pressure to equalize for an appropriate reading, but there's a floor above that, keeping water out of the electronics section. Only way the internals get wet is if it's submerged. This removes the need to silicone or form rubber seals and hope for the best. @reconwx
