HEX ARCHIVES // TRAIT BREAKDOWN-001 One thing I've always believed as an artist is that the process matters just as much as the final artwork. When I was building traits for Phanatic @coinphanic, every component had to be drawn individually before a single NFT could exist. This Common Phanatic was assembled from: • Cyborg Body • Cargo Khaki • Grind Boots • Tanktop • Shades What you're looking at isn't one drawing. It's a collection of separate hand-drawn traits brought together to create a final character. For this single Common combination: • 52 outline layers • 70 final colored layers Every layer was drawn, placed, colored, and checked by hand. The finished NFT is the result. The work behind it is the story.

HEX ARCHIVES // ENV-002 One of the more interesting art direction challenges during development of Phanatics @coinphanic was the environments. Most NFT backgrounds exist to separate the character from the canvas. These environments were designed as actual destinations, iconic cities, monuments, lost civilizations, forbidden zones, secret facilities, and places where the world's greatest wealth is stored. The problem wasn't making the backgrounds interesting. The problem was making sure your eye still landed on the entity first. The environmental filtering wasn't decoration. It was visual hierarchy.

HEX ARCHIVES // 004 During the early development phase of the Phanatics collection, multiple base character concepts were explored as the team searched for the project’s foundational visual identity. Concept 4 ultimately became the selected direction. I was thinking… 🤔 If Crypto is the Matrix... Then within this universe exist many Gods… the architects responsible for creating the foundations the rest of us build, transact, and operate upon. That would mean... Bitcoin bitcoin:native is a God. Ethereum ethereum:native is a God. Sonic sonic-3:native is a God. Layer 1s. Layer 2s. Layer 0s. Protocols. DEXs. Ecosystems. Some even evolve into Demi Gods. This was the thesis behind creating the Phanic God character. @Equalizer0x #Phanatics

As a newer artist entering the space, posts like this inspire me. I’m HexMostly an artist who genuinely cares about originality, process, and building art with actual conviction behind it. Still early in my journey, but I hope one day my work becomes part of someone’s “rediscovered art” collection too. 🤝
