Enough is enough. We can’t keep taking advantage of teachers’ good nature – we’ve got to ensure that not only are we providing teachers with what they need, but that we are compensating them for all that they do for our kids.

Fear of conflict is 1 of the 5 dysfunctions of a team. Teammates who trust each other can give & take honest feedback. Great teams aren’t afraid of conflict. That’s how you grow. Two competitors who hold each other accountable and want to win can fuel a championship run.

Teachers are 6 times more engaged and effective when they feel like they are valued, supported, and appreciated. Sadly Gallup also reports that 7 out of 10 teachers are not emotionally connected or they’re dissatisfied at work. Districts have to do better.
