Great to host my fellow MDBs Heads colleagues at @the_IDB again! Happy to report that we're making solid progress in implementing our joint commitments of the MDBs. Our efforts are also being recognized by stakeholders across the board, with the #G20 Finance Ministers endorsing the roadmap for MDB reforms, which incorporates 14 of our 16 deliverables of the Viewpoint Note. Together we're delivering for more impact and scale, as a system, for countries and people.

Kenya has joined the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and is awaiting full ratification of membership. We are looking forward to working with the bank in financing national development projects such as renewable energy, infrastructure and digital connectivity. Held a meeting with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank President and Chair of the Board of Directors Jin Liqun at Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi, during the annual meetings of the African Development Bank and Africa Development Fund.

Following the #SpringMeetings, AIIB President Jin Liqun continued on to New York where he met @MikeBloomberg. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss concrete collaborations between AIIB and @BloombergDotOrg in advancing private capital mobilization for #climateaction.
