New this time: a revenue leaderboard, alongside the usual web and mobile traffic rankings.
Three years ago we published the first edition. ChatGPT was #1, Claude was unranked, and the entire category was chatbots, image generators, and not much else.
In today's edition:
- ChatGPT still holds the throne, now with 1B+ monthly actives on mobile
- Claude has climbed to #3 on web with nearly 1B monthly visits
- The category has expanded to vibe coding (Lovable, Cursor, Replit), music (Suno), design (Figma), voice (ElevenLabs), video (Higgsfield, Kling), agents (Manus), and even hardware (Plaud)

Today marks the first class at Harvard Business School where the Manus case was taught. Huge thanks to Professor Marco and his team for all the effort they put into writing this case over the past year. Photo 3 is from almost exactly this time last year, when I first met and spoke with Professor Marco at Harvard. Time flies, yet somehow also crawls.
I think the TRUE personal software era era is real. In ~2 hours on Manus Desktop, I built my own Mac launcher and screenshot app.
Not a demo. Not a mockup. A real app that matched my specs and even added a few bonus touches.
I have used Alfred for more than a decade, so I do not say this lightly: I already prefer my own app.
18 months ago, I decided to join with @Red_Xiao_ and @peakji on my sofa. No one knew where it would lead. We just kept building, pivoting, and shipping—again and again—until now.
Grateful to our team and every user who believed early. Day 1 isn’t over. We’ll keep shipping.
