I did two extra degrees - BSc and MSc in Computer Science. Today, I am a Senior Software Engineer for a multinational firm.
@ronikpe did a masters in Health Informatics, he’s currently a Project Lead in the NHS. This one is my oga 🙌🏽
@Dr_STM did a masters in Health Informatics, and is in a Digital Health role. She’s a Wonder Woman, there’s a lot to learn from her.
@Somtoxavi did an MSc in Computing, and is currently a Senior EPR Analyst in the NHS. Whatever you need to know about health data, he’s your guy!

I was so sad when a Colleague. A Medical Doctor practicing in Nigeria reached out to me some days ago. He needed Help paying the school fees of his Son that just gained admission into the University. The fee was about 600k. In a government owned University.
This is a Medical Doctor. A Consultant, finding it difficult to pay school fees in Nigeria of Today.
One of the professions we look up to as a kid. One of the profession we believed if we become we have made it through to being comfortable in life.
I was just so messed up after the conversation. I asked about his welfare and all. He was like, “Motor ti g’ori odo. Even if it doesn’t, where will I get money for fuel?!”
If a Consultant can’t train 2 children in the university comfortably, then what happens to the Adhoc staffs in the hospital? They should just forget about education for their children.?
Nigerians, we all should be angry, come together and say. “Enough is Enough!”
Let’s get rid of Tinubu before he gets rid of our Future.

I forgot about flashcards, in addition to carefully made flashcards from your slides, you can import from anywhere into @goodplacemed and sync it all to your learning.
And lastly (there are still so many features on @goodplacemed), you can create a Place (study group) with friends and share lessons, organize live quizzes, set weekly goals and get better at studying!
It’s hard to see a med student have an app that does everything for them: Breaks down slides, get detailed flashcards from slides, use pictures from lecture slides to make pictures tests for you, over 500+ OSCE stations to practice with friends and with a simulation…
It’s even harder to find one that is affordable.

Joe Biden is a deeply devout, lifelong Roman Catholic who regularly attends Mass and frequently references his faith as his moral compass.
As only the second Catholic president in US history, he's known for carrying his late son’s rosary and quoting scripture to guide his politics at every turn. He didn't do this to win the presidency; he's done it for decades & has done this after his presidency.
Yet these same Christian nationalists did not consider him Christian enough. They were celebrating with "Christ is now in the White House" when the country elected a man who campaigned with several sexual assault charges behind him & had never shown any sign of religious devotion, and even reelected him after years of racism, bigotry, sexism & a criminal conviction.
It has never been about being Christ-like; it's all about weaponising religious politics. It is about using religion as a tool for white identity politics & exclusion, rather than a blueprint for personal character.
