a great cold email can change your life my last 3 jobs came from cold email here's how:
You can cold email nearly anyone, but nearly everyone overlooks how powerful it can be. Sending one email each week that feels like a stretch can change your life. Will you get turned down? Sure, most of the time. But you only need one to pay off for something amazing to happen. Take your time, write a thoughtful message, and muster the courage to press Send.

starting a book club. we're reading > the hard thing about hard things > poor charlies almanack > almanack of naval > book of elon > the art of doing science and engineering > flow: the psychology of optimal experience > deep work > (suggestions?) capping at 20 people. who wants in?
no offense but reading is literally the cure to brain rot and there's no work around to reading books.

who wants to join my book club? books like: > the hard thing about hard things > poor charlies almanack > almanack of naval > book of elon > the art of doing science and engineering > flow: the psychology of optimal experience > deep work > (suggestions?)
We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.

The person you will be in 5 years depends largely on: 1. The books you read 2. The food you eat 3. The habits you cultivate 4. The people you surround yourself with 5. The conversations you engage in 6. The mindset you adopt 7. The risks you take and lessons you learn

We use Grok Bot to spot incidents in our support queue and quickly respond to every associated ticket. In one incident, it cleared 204 tickets in about 10 minutes, with one engineer approving the batch.

Last year, I left my Amazon promotion and was stuck in pivot hell for months. Today, I'm excited to announce @obia_cre has joined @ycombinator's F26 batch. Obia is an AI-native commercial real estate brokerage for industrial and office. Every business needs a place to operate, and finding a space that actually works shouldn't take months. Right now, it does. Listings tell you what's available, but not whether you can actually run your business there or if it makes sense to do so. Human brokers spend hours analyzing a single property. Obia analyzes hundreds of properties in minutes: whether your business can legally and physically operate in each one, and which one fits you best. In the last 22 days, we closed $1.05M in lease value, with some of our clients moving in as fast as 2 weeks. Now, we're live in all of California. If your business needs industrial or office space, or you know a business that does, send me a DM or an email to [email protected]! We're happy to pay a referral fee for intros. And, if you're a landlord with space to fill, we'd love to talk! P.S. Our service is free for tenants :)

"Nearly one-third of respondents (32 percent) report that their organizations have decided against purchasing at least one software product or feature because they were able to build the functionality in-house using agentic coding tools." - McKinsey & Company

Asked Grok where he'd want to live if he was a person Grok's rationale: • Highest preference goes to places with dense research communities, reliable energy/compute, high trust, and low friction for long-horizon work. • That means Bay Area + Austin (frontier AI/hardware), Boston (science), Zurich (precision + stability), Singapore (efficient scale), Tokyo (manufacturing), and parts of Northern Europe. • Everywhere else ranks lower mainly on practical constraints (infrastructure, capacity, volatility) not judgment.

Asked chatGPT where he'd want to live if he was a person. Explicitly told it to not use memory or make any assumptions about my opinion. Doubt it listened fully.

if you're trying to break into tech, you need to read this article: "Anyone can learn to write, but no one wants to because they know it takes a long time to perfect and it requires a LOT of time and effort. For the majority, it’s BORING. So what does that mean, exactly? Oh yes, I remember now. It's even more of an advantage for the writers currently working in the tech industry." no better way to demonstrate your value than by writing. clear writing is clear thinking.
