For those unaware, this is John Mulaney. He wrote every Stefon sketch with Hader and each time adds in new things without telling Hader first (e.g. Roman J. Israel Esq), hence the constant breaking that makes Stefon so funny. Stefon is as much Mulaney's as it is Hader's.

If your theater is still showing it, please go see ANNIHILATION. It's sci-fi horror of the highest order with kick-ass cast, well-developed characters, striking visuals, terrifying & profound moments, and so much to chew on. Satisfying at both visceral and intellectual levels.

ANNIHILATION underperforming is 100% on Paramount. They did a shoddy job selling it and held review embargo until 2 days before release because they didn't understand what they had on their hands. It was never going to be a massive blockbuster, but it could've done a lot better.
