So glad to see this. Academic friends, please do join us in calling on the @royalsociety to make an unequivocal statement about the culpability of fossil fuels in driving the climate crisis. We are in a #ClimateEmergency and we must all do what we can to sound the alarm.

When a royal coronation is being described as "the most important historical event in the UK of our age" while multiple ecological crises unfold around us, we have to ask: how have people got such a strangely limited idea of what historically important things are?

This, from Nick Cave, is a magnificent and superfluous justification for curiosity and nuance and holding competing thoughts.

We need better working conditions for #betterscience. Take these little reminders to heart and fight for better structures for all. What a great campaign…especially for office doors 🤓💚 @histforfuture @BetterScienceCH @Ichbin_Hanna
