Agents need credentials to do real work, but they don't have to hold them (and in fact, they shouldn't).
This is exactly why we built Turnkey Managed Secrets -- you shouldn’t have to choose between automation and control over credentials, and now you don't have to.
Don't let vibes write your threat model. We're making it easy to build the right way
The next wave of stablecoin adoption will be driven by agentic payments, and @turnkeyhq is powering the guardrails that let agents move money securely at machine speed.
Had a great time talking about this on the @WalletConnect Payments Pulse
NEW EPISODE of the Payments Pulse with @turnkeyhq COO @hm_arnold
Hannah explains:
> Why legacy payment rails (ACH and SWIFT) are broken
> How agentic payments may quietly dominate transactions
> Underrated use cases of treasury management and programmable payments

Your agents can now take actions on behalf of users without ever holding the credentials
Passwords, keys, and tokens never touch the agent's runtime or context
Soon this will be table stakes for enterprise buyers

new thing we’ve been building at @turnkeyhq: agent auth.
agents need credentials to do useful work. right now this means giving them passwords, api keys, oauth tokens, even totp seeds. this gives the agent far more access than the action actually requires
for years, turnkey has secured millions of private keys using verifiable TEE infrastructure. underneath that is a generic system for credentials, auth and policies, with human and machine authenticators, consensus, temporary and revocable access, and a full audit trail
now we are opening up these primitives for agent builders.
the end user keeps sovereignty over their credentials while giving builders a way to easily grant scoped access based on the action it needs to take.
a lot of agent builders are not thinking about security yet, but we think this becomes a critical product differentiator very soon. we want to make doing it correctly the easy path.
many of the pieces are already live:
•agents can retrieve encrypted secrets under programmable policies, including consensus and temporary or revocable access
•they can sign git commits and authenticate over ssh without holding the underlying private keys
•and of course if you want your agent to pay for things over crypto rails, turnkey already secures the wallets and enforces the policies for that too
what’s next: we’re looking for agent builders who want to help shape what comes next. reach out or sign up below

crypto and ai are converging on the insight that TEEs/confidential compute is endgame technology bc of verifiability and programmable privacy
excited to see where this lands (and maybe read my post from 2024 on the 5 levels of secure hardware below)

Introducing Swaps and Earn on Turnkey!
Your users can now trade assets and access onchain yield right inside your product, with top-tier rates and an expansive selection of vaults.
Set your own fee on both, and turn onchain activity into new revenue.
Building the guardrails for agentic commerce is a trillion dollar opportunity.
When Visa (BankAmericard back then) first launched in the 50s, they airdropped tens of thousands of already active credit cards to consumers that hadn't applied to them.
As you can guess, fraud went completely out of control with consumers and merchants and they lost millions of dollars. Instead of killing the experiment, they doubled down on infrastructure AROUND the cards: underwriting, collections, fraud controls, dispute resolution. Figuring out these problems led to the biggest consumer payments network EVER.
The same will happen with agentic payments. The industry is building a massive honeypot and new types of fraud and errors will happen that we never expected. We can't just copy and paste what we did in card networks to agentic. To control machine-based payments, we need new machine-based controls: cryptographic verifiability, escrow contracts, strict access policies, and human-in-the loop approvals. It's going to be a wild ride.

The winners of autonomous commerce have yet to be crowned. As agentic txn volume ramps up, the reinforcing loops will be strong and the transition will be fast
Cloudflare's edge might be the #1 distribution point and the best positioned to dethrone incumbents like Stripe

Thrilled to have @archetypevc and @circle_ventures onboard as strategic investors, alongside the continued support from our long-term partners.
We’re moving from a world where value flows through systems designed for humans to one where it flows through systems designed for software.
Programmable money is becoming the default foundation for how economic activity happens online – across payments, coordination, and machine-to-machine transactions.
We’re building for when programmable systems become the primary interface for how value moves across the internet. $12.5M to scale faster.
Thrilled to announce a $12.5M strategic investment to meet accelerating demand for crypto wallets and verifiable computing.
With participation from @circle_ventures, @archetypevc, and existing investors @BainCapCrypto, @FactionVC, @galaxyhq, @sequoia, and @variantfund.
speaking of cool people that work at @turnkeyhq ....
🎙️This week @AnnaRRose & @kobigurk talk with @arnaudbrousseau & @whojackjones from @turnkeyhq about verifiable key management with TEEs, the benefits of reproducibility and remote attestation, and where this overlaps with ZK and AI agents.

Crypto is only as strong as its infrastructure. Billions move onchain every day — but without secure infra, users are at risk.
At @TurnkeyHQ, we’re fixing this. And we’re hiring Solutions Engineers to work with me + our incredible team to help top builders design the future of Web3.

verifiability is easily one of my favorite verticals rn
- can onboard web2 apps without needing to “go full crypto”
- solves a real and universal problem
- not heavily tied to speculation
seeing it as crypto's trojan horse

Stablecoins have the potential to reshape eCommerce.
- Micropayments unlock new markets
- Programmable money enables new commerce models
- Open rails make hard-to-reach regions accessible
- AI agents can now participate in the economy

Stablecoins working at scale significantly accelerates crypto as the future of the financial system. All financial services will need to be (re)built for this ecosystem. This is a once in a generation platform shift. The major pillars of the future of finance are up for grabs.

Big week for wallets!
Stripe are acquiring Privy
Turnkey announced $30M Series B
Wallet providers are the critical infra needed by fintechs to prepare for an onchain future
Expect more wallet M&A (dfns, dynamic, utila...)
Congrats Privy team!
We’ve raised a $30M Series B led by @BainCapCrypto to keep building what crypto needs most: open, secure, scalable infrastructure.
Big news: We’ve raised a $30M Series B led by @BainCapCrypto to power innovation in crypto!
2/ This has been three years of deep focus, of building for builders, and of doing the hard things the right way — not the easy way.
Trustless infra isn’t a feature, it’s a foundation. So proud of our team and grateful to our customers and partners.
3/ Now we get to do even more:
→ More open source foundations
→ More crypto primitives
→ More real-world impact
