There was this scene… I don’t know if I should talk about it, but the scene where I jumped off the building. The scene where I argued with my mom on the rooftop and then jumped down. The scene where I took Khun Poppy to stargaze. That part, from when Khun Dobby and I went stargazing until the scene where I jumped off the building. It only goes up to the part where I jump, though. That scene… wow… I’m really glad I managed to get through it too. I actually received the script right when we were about to film that scene. As we were getting ready to shoot, I suddenly realized, “Wait, I have a scene like this?” And the script and lines were really, really long. I had only just received the script, and we were already about to film it. When I was standing on set, I was still a little confused, asking, “Wait, there’s a scene like this, Phi?” But at that point, I had to… deal with it on the spot. No, not deal with it on the spot. I had to make it work because we were about to film. So I tried to read through the lines and memorize them. I already had a pretty good understanding of Dew’s character because it was my second time filming as Dew. So I’m glad I got through that shoot. After filming, I even went to ask the director if my performance was okay. I apologized and explained that I had only just received the script. But the director praised me. Whoa… it’s like the whole crew already knew that I had just received the script. They were like, “Wow, you only just got the script, and you still managed to perform this well. You’re amazing!” They were happy with my performance. I was happy too. I mean, as long as the director liked it, I was satisfied. My job is to do whatever I can to make my performance match the image the director has in mind as closely as possible. *sigh* I’m glad I got through that scene. I literally received the script right there on set. For all the other scenes, I had received the scripts in advance. It was just that one scene that was a real race against time! I had to quickly memorize the lines and perform it right away. That’s one of the fun things about being an actor.
