Every girl deserves more than a chance to dream; she deserves the opportunity, protection, and support to turn those dreams into reality.
Today, I reaffirm my commitment to a society where every girl is safe from abuse, protected from child marriage, empowered through education, and given the freedom to discover her full potential.
A girl’s future should never be limited by her gender, her background, or the circumstances of her birth. When we invest in girls, we invest in stronger families, better communities, and a more prosperous Nigeria.
Let every girl learn. Let every girl lead. Let every girl thrive.
To every girl child in Apapa Constituency 1, Lagos, Nigeria and beyond, I say, “Happy International Day of the Girl Child!”

Yesterday, I joined the conversation on protecting and empowering the girl child at the 2026 Girl Child Day celebration, organised by the Lagos State Government, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, under the Innovate-Eko STEAM Mentorship Series, which was held at the Lagos State University of Education, Oto-Ijanikin.
Speaking on the theme, “End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls’ Rights,” I emphasised that protecting and empowering the girl child is a collective responsibility. This requires strengthening child protection, enforcing existing laws, expanding access to education, and creating opportunities for every girl to thrive.
I also stressed the importance of properly educating and training the boy child to ensure that girls are protected and that both can coexist in an equitable world.
We must not only protect girls from what threatens their future; we must invest in what makes that future possible.
Every girl deserves the freedom to learn, lead, innovate, and realise her full potential.
Happy International Day of the Girl Child!

I was delighted to join fellow leaders and members of the City Boy Movement for the inauguration of the Lagos Central Senatorial District Ward Executives - a significant step towards building a stronger, more organised grassroots movement.
As State Zonal Coordinator for Lagos Central, I believe our strength lies not just in numbers, but in how well we connect with our people, communicate our vision, and turn participation into impact.
The future belongs to those who organise, engage, and show up. We are building from the wards, strengthening our communities, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The energy was real, the purpose was clear, and the mission is bigger than us!
The movement is growing. The structure is strengthening. And we are just getting started!

As we prepare for the road ahead, our strength will continue to lie in our ability to work together, protect and build on the achievements we have made and remain focused on a Lagos and Nigeria that works for all.
The task ahead demands maturity, loyalty and purposeful collaboration. Together, we will continue to put Nigeria first and contribute our quota to the Lagos of our dreams.

Yesterday, it was my pleasure to receive courtesy visits, first from a distinguished delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Executives - Apapa, led by the Chairman - Elder Adewale Onakoya and all Ward Chairmen of Apapa Local Government, and subsequently from the Mo’care Babes Group of Apapa Constituency 1.
Both visits were particularly meaningful, as they brought together constituents and important stakeholders within our party structure in Apapa Constituency 1.
