it's funny to see TROP in the awkward middle period of "audience reassessment". more people are giving it a chance but still feel obligated to hedge their enthusiasm a little. just embrace it darlings. by this time 2026, it'll be in "why did anyone ever dislike this?" territory.

heartbreaking imagery in the fact that he's posed like characters that are enthralled by the 1 ring when what he's admiring represents freedom.. & he's shackled due to his nature, though that yearning for independence contradicts the necessity for the shackles in the first place!
