I think we can all agree how stupid Daylight Saving Time is!
So, instead of falling back an hour this weekend, I say we spring forward four hours.
That way LSU v. Bama will kickoff when it’s supposed to, and the Tide can experience a true Saturday Night in Death Valley!

Incredible. Endless stories about young people feeling disillusioned, dooming about not being able to even buy a house etc, and yet there is no politician of any party (afaik) that will actually do anything to reduce the boomers’ slice of the pie.

The thing with the 2020s is that being a champagne liberal is no longer cool. The PTI movement did a lot to accomplish that, and many closeted liberals are still mad about it.
The new global-aspiring Pakistani intellectuals seek the aesthetic trappings of socialism but most are reactionary liberals. Class interests remain supreme, and can be identified in the "conservative" bugbear.
What is "conservative"? It is social and gendered conservatism, which most Pakistanis practice, across class lines (especially among the lower and middle classes) -- well, except for rich liberals. The clear sign of a liberal/fake leftist is his obsession with "religious conservatives" rather than with raging socioeconomic inequality.
The movement you're still mad about is literally imprisoned and unable to function politically. The military and the corrupt political elites are blithely performing the superpower's bidding. Yet this really is your priority at this time?
