This was actually probably the right call.
Throwback to Tom Herman’s final press conference with FAU in 2023 prior to his firing, where his final words were to the tune of Viva La Vida by Coldplay.
What a time.
#USF’s Brian Hartline will not have a post game presser, a statement sent to media said:
“Field storming makes media untenable here. We have to be on the field. No set up provided by ECU… Please make this known on social. Don’t want people think he is ducking media. He is not.”

Shai is having a blast out there. Shows off the handle, and lets the kids sitting courtside help him up.
Look at their faces. He just made their year lol.

Brian Windhorst says Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is taking on a 2015 Finals LeBron James-type role due to the Thunder’s injuries.
“Shai has been one of the most efficient players in the league for the last five years. I believe five straight years of shooting over 50% from the field, which is incredible for a guard at his level. He doesn’t take a ton of shots. That’s why he never had a 40-point game for forever even though he would average 30, because he just didn’t take that many shots. Well, with the situation that the Thunder are in, Shai is turning into 2015 Finals LeBron. He has taken more shots in the last two games than any other two games of his career. He has missed 36 shots — the most shots he’s ever missed in a two-game span in his career... He is doing everything he possibly can to carry the Thunder.”

Just ask 2023 undefeated power 4 conference champion FSU...
ESECPN owns both the SEC and CFP contracts, they feed their own.
NEW: Indiana's Curt Cignetti on the College Football Playoff rankings:
"SEC gets a lot of love from ESPN, you know, and all their writers that they don’t technically pay, but march to their drum. So, and that’s why you see all these SEC teams up there, you know, and some good two-loss teams from the Big Ten, not quite as high. But like I said, it’s all going to be played out on the field."

Didn't win a ship and left a community that prides itself on loyalty and integrity like a total coward... his play was amazing but acting like those things don't exist is generally an opinion only shared by people not from OKC

The mass hysteria surrounding Shai last season was insane. Shai did the same thing to one of the biggest gambling companies using his likeness and people sided with the GAMBLING COMPANY. Truly insane stuff

James is aiming to get the sports betting app to stop using his likeness without authorization, a spokesperson for LeBron told Front Office Sports. spr.ly/6017BHFcn1

If Georgia was undefeated, where would they be ranked? Unanimously #1 by the committee.
They aren’t undefeated though. They lost to 4-4 Auburn at home. With that loss, where is a Georgia ranked?
#2.
So, that means Georgia losing to 4-4 Auburn at home cost them a grand total of… one spot in the rankings.
Utah and UCLA are literally treated worse while undefeated than Georgia is after losing to an unranked team at home.
College Football in 2026 📉🗑️

This is the culmination of a process that began at ESPN about 15 years ago.
From the early 90s to 2006, college football's national champions came from every conference. Examples: the ACC (FSU), the Big East (Miami), the Big 12 (Nebraska, Texas), the PAC 12 (USC), and the SEC (Alabama, Florida).
There were so many good teams from around the country. College football was really fun to follow. 2007 was the pinnacle.
From 2006-2012, however, every national champion came from the SEC: Florida (2006), LSU (2007), Florida (2008), Alabama (2009), Auburn (2010), Alabama (2011), Alabama (2012).
ESPN announced it was launching the SEC Network in 2013, and it launched in 2014.
Right about that time, as anyone who used to watch College Football Live and ESPN Gameday can attest, ESPN pretty much quit talking about college football as a whole and started talking about the SEC, to the detriment of other teams and conferences.
To be fair, Nick Saban's Alabama teams sucked all the air out of the room, because they changed college football and were so dominant. When they somehow failed to win a natty in any given year, some other SEC team happily filled in.
Fast-forward to today, and it has become a self-fulfilling prophecy: ESPN and ABC give the best time slots to SEC games, while other conferences are shuffled off to ESPN2, ESPNU, and elsewhere; SEC games get better ratings, because they get better networks and windows; lather, rinse, repeat.
—> ESPN pays $4 billion for SEC media rights
—> ESPN pays for exclusive CFP media rights
—> ESPN airs the ONLY CFP selection show
—> ESPN creates a mystery Power Index that the CFP uses for SOR and SOS
ESPN then proceeds to rank Alabama #5, Kentucky #6 and two loss Texas at #7
All while ranking undefeated UCLA #8, one loss BYU #9 and one loss Notre Dame #11
But I’m just a conspiracy theorist, got it

What has he said that’s untrue or u disagree with cus I’ve seen Russ say that team wasn’t good enough either?? So your mad because a pro athlete said his front office made bad decisions (trading harden for basically nothing)???

That’s what people don’t get about the KD situation.
All of these guys eventually left and they are OKC legends because they did it the right way.
All Kevin had to do was *not* go to the super team that he helped choke a WCF series against and he’d have his statue.

This was genuinely a you had to be there moment. Basically every game that day had a massive fight, a flag plant that caused a fight, or just some straight bullshit on a few plays
