Today, thousands gathered in Ballina alongside the families of the Hunger Strikers to remember ten brave young men who gave their lives for freedom, dignity and justice. The greatest tribute we can pay them is to carry their struggle forward - to organise, to build our strength and to finish the work of achieving a united Ireland. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Their vision of a free and united Ireland lives on.
