Activism for longevity is not science fiction cosplay. It is lobbying for research budgets, open data, and regulatory pathways that reward prevention of aging damage.

A patient is a person who seeks help. A person confined and drugged against their will is not a patient but a captive.
Psychiatrist Thomas Szasz understood this. Involuntary psychiatry does not treat people. It detains them.
Words matter. Calling a captive a patient, a locked ward a hospital, and forced drugging a treatment hides what is actually happening.
Call coercion by its name, and the public will finally see it.
Suicide prevention by force treats the person as property of the state for their own good.
That paternalism has a long, ugly history outside psychiatry too. We should recognize the pattern.

I think owning your own tools is one of the most practical forms of freedom we have.
When your money, your files, and your AI all run on someone else's servers, they can be changed, limited, or taken away. Private money like Monero, self-hosted software, and AI that runs on your own computer put more of that control back in your hands.
What is one thing you rely on every day that you would like to fully own?
I think abundance will come more from builders than from central planners.
Cheap solar, open source software, 3D printing, and local AI are already letting small groups and individuals make things that used to require big companies or governments.

I want abundance paired with radical life extension. Long healthy lives in a world of enforced scarcity would be a cruel joke.

Longevity escape velocity is the idea that research could one day add more than one year of healthy life for every year that passes. If we reach that point, people alive today would keep gaining time instead of slowly losing it.
I do not know exactly when that could happen. Still, I think it is one of the most hopeful goals we could work toward on purpose.
What things won't Monero eventually offer but people in crypto want? Monero can synergize with those (and only the good ones of those) through various cryptoeconomic mechanisms to grow synergistically
