or had a sick child in the hospital, and they’re not receiving the adequate care because they’re getting what you can afford in that moment in time
the essence of what his saying is life is finite, we should make the most use of it, but what’s the use if you spend the whole time time thinking how life is finite and refusing to try because “nobody’s gonna remember you after you’re gone”.

People spend hours analysing success stories in retrospect meanwhile it's always just a delusional person trying with no concrete evidence it will work out, it's just someone believing in something they've not seen

Jesus lived 600 years earlier in a far more unrefined era, yet He never owned a single slave. What is most startling about Christ is how He entirely bypassed the cultural traps of antiquity. He easily could have engaged in the socially permissible norms of His day that age horribly now; like marrying a minor, or owning and sexually exploiting slaves. But He didn’t. He lived with absolute moral perfection in a time when the ethical bar was on the floor, and His standard remains flawless today. He is God.

Today is my last day at @moniepoint.
I’ve made the decision to dedicate my time fully to building @pewbeam_ai. I believe deeply in what we’re building and its potential to shape the kind of future I want to live in, and I’m excited to give it my undivided attention.
It has been a privilege to contribute to Moniepoint’s mission of providing financial happiness for every African.
As a Product Designer on the Cards team, I had the opportunity to contribute to improving the product’s user experience and design, helping make it more intuitive and useful for the people who rely on it.
I’m grateful to everyone I had the opportunity to work with. I’ve learned a great deal from the people around me, and I know those lessons will serve me well as I enter this next chapter.
Now, it’s time to build 🚀
