And this is how people ruin kind people and later everyone will be crying that there’s no more kind people in the society.
He is an ungrateful idiot.
My course mate, who has been jobless since we left university, has been squatting in my house since February this year.
As God would have it, he got a job in June after I had helped him with job suggestions and accommodation.
Recently, he moved out of my house because he had rented a new place for himself and bought some home appliances.
When I visited him yesterday for the first time, he said something that left me feeling uncomfortable....

He said, “Naeto, if I must be honest, if a fellow course mate were in my position then, I doubt if I would have the heart to help them. You really need to reduce how you help people if you want to go far in life.”
I stood there looking at him in confusion. I didn't know if that was advice or an ungrateful person speaking.
But one thing I know for sure is that I can't run back to him in my vulnerable moments.
