In psychology, there is a concept called the hedonic treadmill—it is the tendency of humans to quickly return to a relatively stable level of happiness despite major positive or negative events. If your happiness is tied to a specific number in your bank account, the moment you hit that number, your brain will automatically move the goalpost. You will want more. If your joy is conditional on wealth, you trap yourself in a permanent state of "not there yet."
My Takeaway? Secure your money to survive, but SECURE your APPRECIATION for the LITTLE THINGS to ACTUALLY LIVE. Don't let the pursuit of a better living stop you from enjoying the life you already have.
Money is very important. You need it to sort your bills. It is a means to an end. Still, if you put your happiness on how much money you have, you may never find happiness.
You must learn to find happiness in simple pleasures - your chosen relationship, nature, yourself and personal space, music, art, a beautiful smile. The list is endless.
Don't be too hard on yourself. You are not the only one that need money.

A snake is trying to swallow a frog, and the frog’s escape speed is painfully slow. 😭🐍🐸
How is this frog supposed to survive? 😂
There’s a post doing numbers on instagram right now where a lady posted that all her conversations with her husband is just her asking him for money, she went ahead to say it seems like she didn’t marry for love but for money.
17M, 10M, millions, money, money, money.
They don’t even converse like people in love, she sends appreciation with a single sticker. I’m all in for men taking care of their wives, but may that type of marriage skip me and my boys.
She attached different screenshots; the man never gets a break, even to light, food, the smallest things in the house, she can’t afford any. Always asking!
There was a point she asked him for money, he didn’t reply. She then texted again saying “you didn’t see this?”, he said he saw it, she replied “so?”
How do you text a man you claim you love just like that after asking him for 17.4M? And this is why a lot of men don’t live long.
He then replied her that he will send her the money the next day.
Even when he told her he didn’t really have money, she still pushed for her demands, the husband had to tell her that “everyday money money”, he said he told her he didn’t have money, she doesn’t want to understand.
And even the woman making such posts, not to appreciate her husband but to gain online validation makes it worse.
The man seems to be rich, so I’m happy she found her client. But nothing in those screenshots describes love or how a marriage should be built. Seeing a lot of women comment that they are not billing their husbands enough made the post funnier, some even said “who asked me to marry for love?”, that’s ground for divorce. While many single ladies in the comment are praying to have such man.
Modern dating and marriage have completely lost their way.

As you are eager to grow, once you see these types of accounts, block them. Don’t say I didn’t inform you. E get why.

If you want to enjoy your relationship, avoid pink-lipped men and men with dangerous fashion sense. Those categories of men will give you butterflies and leave you with financial trauma.

Dear men, make sure you NEVER be the man to take an OS off the streets. Old habits don't díe off.
