A lot of dialogue and opposing views on my timeline in response to the users being compensated after the exploit.
I understand both sides.
Happy to see the people receive the funds back as it wasn’t their fault.
But
This is setting a dangerous precedent.
At the end of the day, this is web 3. These are the risks associated when borrowing / lending.
If a bailout happened for one platform, why weren’t others helped as well? Will others be helped in the future?
Or does it go back to the “it’s not what you know, but who you know”?
Supra (who know they were exposed) just breezes by unscathed? No accountability? No repercussions?
At the end of the day, the market chooses the winners. Some are too big to fail, apparently.
Seen this play out outside of web 3 before
Regardless, healthy conversations and debates are needed . Respectful dialogue is always welcomed

I'm super proud of the $SUPRA community. We endured the FUD, the trolling, the doubts, and all the negativity. It wasn't easy, but we stood our ground.
Have you noticed? Those guys who constantly talked down on us are no longer tweeting. Some left $Supra for other chains thinking it would be easier over there... only to realize every ecosystem has its own challenges. 😅
As for some of us, it's simple:
No retreat. No surrender.

This shit is so sickening. It’s not some small hack or rug, its $9Million and it’s messing up the community and the whole chain in a bad way.
We can’t just brush it off like it’s nothing. If it’s a real mistake then own it, otherwise it looks mad sus. Someone needs to actually do something about this.
@hedera should use their resources and set up some kind of investigation committee to dig into it properly.
I appreciate what Tomachi is doing but the chain needs to step up too.
This is gonna scare off a ton of investors and it’s not a good look at all.
We brag about the tech and security but where the hell are those people when it’s time to stand up for it? If it’s really that good, why aren’t they calling shit out and fixing things instead of acting like nothing happened?
And I really hope this isn’t some inside job, but if it is then that’s a whole different ball game and needs to be dealt with hard.
