For three years, a little boy called my number every Sunday.
The first time, he asked:
“Is my dad there?”
I told him he had the wrong number.
The next Sunday, he called again.
Same question.
Eventually, I asked why.
“He told me to call this number if I ever missed him.”
I asked who his father was.
He gave me a name.
My heart stopped.
It was my younger brother.
He had died three years earlier.

I was raped twice in once night at a hotel party when I was 17. The first was a security guard who came into the hotel room, told us we were good if we kept the noise down. He had some drinks and smoked a little. He asked me how old I was. I told him and he said since I wasn’t old enough to drink, I needed to leave & he would call my parents to pick me up.

Funeral Director: “The family is refusing to leave. They say we cremated the wrong person.”
Crematorium Manager: “What do you mean, the wrong person?”
Funeral Director: “They brought the identification photograph. They’re saying the person in the photograph isn’t their mother.”
Manager: “That’s impossible. We verified the identification before the service.”
Funeral Director: “Then explain why the daughter is saying the identification bracelet had a different surname.”
The manager called the crematorium technician who had prepared the body.
Manager: “Did you check the identification bracelet?”
Technician: “Yes. I checked it against the paperwork.”

Music, films, gaming and digital content all have something in common: they are built around intellectual property.
Yet the business surrounding that IP has traditionally been difficult for ordinary fans to access.
@IPXExchange wants to create a marketplace where individual creative projects can have their own tokens, funding mechanisms and secondary markets.
Think about having different project economies for a documentary, an athlete-inspired game and a creator membership, all operating within one ecosystem.
That's an ambitious direction.
But the real measure of success won't be how many tokens get launched. It'll be how many meaningful productions get completed, find audiences and generate sustainable revenue.
I'm watching that part closely.
