I've recently been grappling with the balance between dogged determination and going with the flow. I have come to the conclusion that, in general, go with the flow. However, when things are aligned, full steam ahead without holding tightly to the outcome.

I've been building with AI consistently for about 10 months. I have 4 pre-release products I'm really excited about. It hasn't been easy, far from the one shot hype you see online. But AI has taken the impossible and placed it within my grasp. Exciting times ahead.

I buy books because I believe in learning through proximity to knowledge.

Most people are using AI to fill in an excel spreadsheet. They think it’s amazing.

Extrapolating this to non-visual perception is mind blowing.

It’s incredible that it took AI for people to remember that intelligence, knowledge and discovery is an arms race.

Whenever i hear commentators say “but the LLM is just simulating a smart person, its not actually smart” I think, I’ve met many people who have passed the benchmark for being “intelligent” this way…

I think a lot more people would find success if they understood that they don’t seek, want nor are capable of the glamorised extremes of success and wealth they are forced to fed everyday.

Tigers are beautiful creatures that exemplify the harshness of the natural world. The principles of the natural world are horrifying and we as humans are yet to separate from its adversarial nature.

One thing is obvious. Our brains should be far far far more capable than we give them credit for.
