Taking this too seriously for a second because I can Some bits are just very annoying in comics, the "no one knows this superhero" bit is one of the most played out one In canon secret invasion was like only a few years ago lol They'd absolutely know Spider-Woman
Haven't heard good things abt this NR

Anyone that calls Hank "Ant-Man" or thinks he should go back to going by that name is kinda stupid #lol He's perfectly fine going by Giant-Man & that works for him He hasn't been Ant-Man since 1973

Literally some of the best (and in case of many like first three here) most acclaimed runs ever lmao.
Replying to @RealMttMrdck
It's also incredibly weird because so many of the best comic book runs are made possible because the writer is devoted to incorporating a lot of prior continuity in interesting ways

People always wanna act elitist and accuse you of "fandomite" brainrot like yours and most other fans's favorite runs don't straight up contradict each other. Almost like contradiction caused by author's new unique take isn't the issue, but lack of cohesion is!
incredibly silly to see the semi-consistent take on cbtwt that continuity shouldn't matter and like, i think it depends, man.

giffen star lord is genuinely such a good evolution of 70s star lord specifically wrt his stance on killing and the evolution of "loneliness is your birthright" there's such a solid flow there and some really good negative character progression that genuinely pays off

If you feel the need to change a character's personality & history to fit your story, sure you can do that But you have to do it in a way that fits Giffen did this with Star-Lord & it was great! Star-Lord is like a good example of both good & bad characterization changes lol

I'm sorry but if you think "respecting continuity" & "maintaining characterization" are limiting writing potential within the big 2, then maybe you're just not a good writer #lol
