Got an email from IFTTT saying that because the Twitter public API is going away, my recipes for mirroring posts to Twitter will stop working. So that's it, you're going to be seeing a lot less on this account from now on. Follow on Mastodon or via RSS!

The operator on the C Line I'm riding just called the TRIP agents up to the front so he could hand them some lollipops. So wholesome! 🥹

I primarily know Meatloaf for Paradise by the Dashboard Light. I recently found out that my partner only knows him from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

There's something really funny about a broken printer with a "sí se puede" sign stuck to the side. 😆

I've been thinking about how challenging it is for #openstreetmap contributors to maintain comprehensive coverage of businesses. [This talk](urbanists.video/w/p/qfvdZDiT…) by the creator of OpenPOIs is pretty neat, and makes me wonder if this could be leveraged to create a tool that …
I was setting up a gaming PC for my partner, which has your classic 2010's build of "256GB SSD for the OS and 1TB HDD for the games."
So I followed [this guide](linuxvox.com/blog/ubuntu-mov…) to map the larger drive to the `/home` directory, and I feel like a proper Linux administrat…
For the first time this weekend, I was out and about and was recognized not as "oh, you're the voice from the Streets.mn Podcast," but as, "hey, I've seen your face on the Streets.mn YouTube channel!"
So that feels significant!

The thing I love about John Green book tour events is that I can turn to the guy next to me waiting for the urinals, say, "we're here because we're here," and he gets it.

Well hey, the Ubuntu 26.04 update notification finally hit my laptop! I want a fresh start, so I won't be upgrading in-place; but this is a good reminder that I need to get around to prepping to wipe the system.

This is a really useful feature! I'm usually listening to podcasts in situations where I don't have the opportunity to type, so saving a bookmark with a title in just a couple taps is a life-saver.
