Wall Street is taking another major step toward onchain finance.
DTCC has launched its Tokenization Service, with 20 major institutions already signed up, including Bank of America, Citi, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley.
ZKsync is among the firms collaborating with DTCC, while Matter Labs is bringing privacy capabilities through Prividium.
The bigger picture is privacy.
Institutions need more than tokenization. They need privacy, control and the ability to work within their existing systems.
That’s what could make onchain finance viable at institutional scale.
