Thoughts and prayers with the Spanish people. I feel like I hear about train accidents in Spain more often than other countries. If the issues are human errors, I hope they implement some hardware and software safeguards. I recall there was a case about a decade ago where the driver was going too fast into a turn, I had thought of a device which could be installed and retrofitted on legacy trains to hard limit max speed based on gps locations. I hope they focus on the underlying issues and stop this from happening ever again.
