I’ve been banned from the UK. I tried to get on a flight to London to attend SXSW London and give a speech at Oxford. I’ve been banned for criticizing Israel. Are we free anymore? This is oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country!

NewGlobe Vice President Isfundiar Kasuri recently made a courtesy call to Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Yunus Centre. Their conversation explored the potential for collaboration in building transformative education systems across South Asia.

To end the deadlock in the negotiations and build trust, the US should lift the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and release the captured Iranian ship so that Pakistan can bring Iran to the negotiating table as a mediator. The aggressors are the US and Israel, not Iran. Instead of defeating Iran, they have lost the war of self-narratives. Iran is not Venezuela, Libya or Iraq. The US cannot win a war waged on the behest of the Zionists at the negotiating table. It can only save face. If Iran is destroyed, every country in the region will be badly affected and the US will have to bear the burden.

Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks.
This will be a double-sided ceasefire! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long-term peace with Iran, and peace in the Middle East.
We received a 10-point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two-week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated.
On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the countries of the Middle East, it is an honor to have this long-term problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The new net billing policy is going to hammer middle class families who went solar to escape sky high bills. Non solar users are not getting a break either, just higher fixed charges. All the spin around this move is just cover for an extractive, exploitative system.

I want to thank @akhlaq_fsd, @myusufraza and @EmTeeEss1 and a NEPRA professional for pointing out an error I made in my original tweet that I am quoting here. I am leaving my original tweet as is, as it only strengthens my argument.
Here are the correct tables. One is from NEPRA State of the Industry Report 25 and the other, based on this report, from Syed Akhlaq sb. The govt bought solar power from Quaid e Azam solar plant last year for Rs 42.2 per unit. But it will buy from solar power from new consumers for Rs 8.13 per unit and from existing consumers for Rs 25.32 per unit. And with net billing, DISCOs on behalf of FBR will add 18% sales tax to the units you buy from the grid but deduct 18% sales tax for the units to sell to the grid.
Dear solar panel owners and Disco consumers. You will be pleased to know that only your solar units will be bought by the grid for Rs 11 per unit.
Quaid e Azam Solar Park, set up by then CM Shehbaz Sharif sahib was given a tariff for US 18 cents for the first ten years (equal to Rs 50.40 in today’s rate) and only US 8.2 cents (equal to Rs 22.96) for the next 15 years.
Other Solar IPPs have about the same rate.
So at least some solar panel owners are getting good money—-just not homeowners like you.

Congratulations to the federal govt for winning against the people.
NEPRA has notified Net Billing. Now the govt will sell consumers electricity for Rs 40 per unit but buy back for Rs 11
FBR adds 18% sales tax on Rs 40 but will deduct it from your Rs 11. dawn.com/news/1972203

There is no confusion sir. The U.S. military operation in Venezuela involving strikes and abduction of a President, breached Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, which forbids threatening or using force against another state's territorial integrity or political independence.
In situations as confused & complex as the one we now face in Venezuela, it's important to stick to principles:
Respect for the @UN Charter.
Respect for the sovereignty, political independence & territorial integrity of states.
The prohibition of the threat or use of force.
The power of the law must prevail.
International law contains tools to address issues such as illicit traffic in narcotics, disputes about resources & human rights concerns.
This is the route we need to take.

Mainstream media is now asking everyone to denounce @TuckerCarlson and @RealCandaceO. But those two have been more understanding and sympathetic to Muslim-Americans than all of mainstream media combined for my whole life. So, why don't we start by denouncing national media first?

I don’t ever want to hear @charliekirk11 claim he is pro-Trump ever again. After this weekend, I’d say he has revealed himself as political opportunist and I have had a front row seat to witness the mental gymnastics these last 10 years.
Lately, Charlie has decided to behave like a charlatan, claiming to be pro-Trump one day while he stabs Trump in the back the next.
TPUSA was only able to thrive thanks to the generosity of President Trump.
On the one year anniversary of the assassination attempt on Trump’s life, Charlie hosted @ComicDaveSmith at @TPUSA’s SAS conference where Dave Smith was able to speak to a bunch of conservative youth at an organization that claims to be Pro-Trump.
3 weeks ago, Dave Smith called for President Trump to be IMPEACHED and REMOVED from office over his decision to blow up Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Charlie played both sides of the Iran issue on his show as we all saw, because he wants to play to both sides of the aisle.
The honorable thing to do is to have a position and actually defend it to the death instead of flip flopping.
Smith said all of MAGA “should turn on Trump” and abandon him. He said this 3 weeks ago.
See the clip below. 👇🏻
TPUSA is definitely not pro-Trump. If they were, they certainly aren’t anymore.
Out of all of the incredible pro-Trump voices out there who support the President, Charlie decided to host Dave Smith?
It really is shameful. And I am honestly just disgusted by the nonstop flip flopping on the right.
Thank you very much @charliekirk11 for having me at the @TPUSA event today. It was a fantastic event and it’s inspiring to see so many young people who are passionate about the future of our country.

So the U.S., a democracy, just attacked Iran without a vote or any input from Congress.
Iran, an authoritarian regime, just held a debate and vote in parliament over whether to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.
