I've said a lot of negative things about Dave Rubin, but credit where it's due:
Creating conservaslop that truly stands out on X in its idiocy and hysteria is like beating SGA, Luka Doncic, and Wemby in a game of 1-on-3, and D-Rubez nailed this.
Binnington has been bad for a while now (-5.0 GSAE). I don’t think he helps.
Gibson has the best pedigree, for sure, but he hasn’t been great to start the season (-4.2 GSAE) and I have to imagine the price is higher than they’d like to pay for one year of help.
Stolarz is arguably the most enticing option (1.5 GSAE). But he’s on the first year of a new four year contract and will probably cost the most.
Don’t see how any of these are really workable right now.
The New York Rangers have talked about Jordan Binnington, John Gibson, and Anthony Stolarz as potential goalie acquisitions. Per, David Pagnotta. #NYR
H/T @puckempire
Well he’s got five days until they play again, and something—don’t ask me what—tells me he’s not starting that game against the Oilers
Another goalie injury for #NYR: James Reimer is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Also, Sean Durzi is getting another maintenance day for today’s practice.
Durzi being clearly hurt and the pair underperforming not being enough to get Scott Morrow into even one single game tells you pretty much all you need to know about how the Rangers (don't) value Morrow
What an enormous whiff

Was disappointed to learn this guy is Canadian because Dylan Garand is one of the most American names ever to have existed. Pair him with Guthrie Gatling.
I think this is, at best, very early. Last season was a mess for all kinds of reasons we've already talked to death. There was still a hangover from the BS from the prior year and the roster lacked offensive talent. I don't hang that on Sullivan.
This season, the team looked much improved and then their best and most important player suffered a season-ending injury. They played really well for a while, and a stinker against the Devils, had two tough losses against good teams in Toronto and Ottawa, and then this game against the Kings.
I do hang the Reimer decisions all on Sullivan here, though. I don't think starting him was the right move, but once he did it, yanking him after three goals in the first period just made things worse.
It would be one thing, and I might be closer to this take, if there had been a sense of normalcy about last season and the start to this one. But that just hasn't been the case.
When the Rangers are performing poorly, I know the majority of folks immediately put the blame on Drury, and I get it, but, at some point, we need to talk about Mike Sullivan and his coaching philosophy.
Sullivan is 41-45-10 as the head coach. #NYR
Devastating for the haters
Most assists by defensemen through their first 500 career NHL games in league history:
1. Bobby Orr - 472
2. Paul Coffey - 438
3. Quinn Hughes - 414
4. Brian Leetch - 390
5. Denis Potvin - 381
6. Cale Makar - 379 (481 games)
7. Adam Fox - 366 (499 games entering tonight)
Pretty good company for #NYR Adam Fox
Once again, I will vow to vote for the first candidate who promises to have all government agencies delete their social media accounts
How utterly infantile
Fake & Gay!
