I’m a Canadian who loves Starlink. In fact, on our rural property, there were no Canadian providers who could provide us with internet due to the location/tree coverage. So we applied for Starlink on the trial when it first launched. Best thing we ever did for the farm. All of the neighbours now have it as well, and it literally connected everyone with no service for decades to full bars and the ability to call on wifi/check the news and weather online for literally the first time. I think it’s disgraceful that the Canadian government is trying to score political points and villainize such an effective product made by a Canadian citizen. Thanks @elonmusk for how much your product improved our quality of life.

Rest in paradise Mario. You were like family to me. I’ll deeply miss our long calls and FaceTimes and thank God everyday you were able to reconnect with Michael before passing. Your death feels beyond senseless and sudden but somehow I know you’re still here. Your story and memory will never be forgotten.

$ASTS Changed my name and removed my 🅰️ until this management team gives me a reason to change it back. At least tell us you did the convert in July because you saw trouble ahead for markets. Make me think you’re competent even if you aren’t. Have lost my way and my mind now.

29 days into using @Muse as my personal agent for life, and I hit some road bumps. I’ve given this thing a LOT. My calendars. My travel. My files. My messages. Grocery lists. Receipts. Fridge photos. Preferences I didn’t even know I had until it got them wrong. Then I trained it on how our life actually works and put it on the clock. Morning briefings. Reminders. Watch lists. Little jobs running in the background while I’m asleep. Dozens of them. At first? It felt kind of magic. Not because it was perfect. It wasn’t. But it felt like it knew me. It remembered the small stuff. It connected dots. It sounded less like a chatbot and more like someone who’d been paying attention. Then, slowly, it started feeling like I was talking to a very capable stranger. The facts were mostly there. The feel was gone. It sent briefings from stale notes. One morning it reminded me about a meeting that had already been canceled, and I found myself doing the exact thing you’re never supposed to have to do with an assistant: double-checking the assistant. So I made it audit itself. The short version: it hadn't lost my data. The notes were all still there. What had changed was the conversation itself. It had been compacted 23 times — summaries of summaries — and somewhere in that, plus a switch to a new model (upgraded to paid plan to use wonder), the context just got thinner. The facts were there. It just didn't feel like it knew me the way it did at the start. You could see it in small stuff. Fewer mentions of my family — 13% of replies down to 7%. Longer answers after I'd asked for shorter multiple times. More "sorry, my mistake." Today we tightened it up. Verify things live instead of trusting old notes. Check the source. Grade itself every night on what I had to correct. And honestly? Today felt better. Closer to the beginning. Not perfect. I still caught a couple of things. Still had to say "no, that's yesterday's plan" once or twice. But better. It just needs better memory. And to be even more proactive (probably just a personal preference though). There are changes that I can make now that I’ve seen how this performs with tons of data. Will keep you updated.

Picard season 3 showrunner and Visionquest writer Terry Matalas says he'd love to be the new Star Trek boss: “Yes, of course, of course! I mean, knowing Kevin, I know that it’s really hard to be a Kevin Feige. But for Star Trek? That’s a dream come true. I grew up wanting to do that, so of course I would.” Would he be a good choice?
