After some 30y, I reread Zweig's "The World of Yesterday". It is a beautiful book. It is an autobiography which is in reality a history of Europe from around 1900 to 1940. We (the world) were extraordinary lucky to have had a person of such artistic and social sensibility at the heart of the events.
